County Executive Committee Member for Finance and Economic Planning, Micah Rogony was on Wednesday joined by officials from the Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA) and World Bank in an inspection exercise of the Uasin Gishu County Service Center.
The purpose of the exercise was to evaluate the progress and assess the quality of services being offered at the centre as well as to foster collaboration between the County Government, CRA, and the World Bank, to improve service delivery.
CECM Rogony had discussions with the staff on the progress reports reviewing them to understand the achievements and ongoing projects within the center as citizens shared their experiences regarding the services.
“I extend my gratitude to the CRA Commissioners, World Bank representatives, and the staff of the Uasin Gishu Service Center for the cooperation and dedication to improving service delivery for the residents of Uasin Gishu County,” CECM Rogony noted.
CRA Commissioner led by Hadija Juma highlighted the importance of equitable revenue allocation and efficient resource management for sustainable development.
World Bank Representative Dr. Naomi Mathenge expressed their support for initiatives aimed at improving public service delivery and indicated potential areas for further collaboration.
