In a bid to minimise wastage incurred by potato famers in Uasin Gishu County after production , H.E Governor Dr Jonathan Bii’s administration is in the process of constructing a new cold room storage facility in Olare-Ainabkoi ward, Ainabkoi Sub County.
Today, a team from the Public Works section inspected the ongoing works on the state-of-the-art facility which will have a capacity of 1500 metric tonnes of potatoes in a year. It will be installed with modern technology to maintain optimal temperature for the stored potatoes.
