HEALTH SERVICES COUNTY EXECUTIVE CALLS ON THE PUBLIC TO REGISTER FOR SOCIAL HEALTH AUTHORITY

In a spirited call to action, Health Services County Executive Dr. Abraham Serem has urged community members to register with the Social Health Authority to unlock vital medical services.

Addressing a sensitization meeting with facility incharges, Dr. Serem emphasized that access to essential healthcare requires registration and the payment of annual premiums.

“Registration is not just a formality, but it’s your gateway to comprehensive healthcare, and the more people who register, the stronger our healthcare services will become,”said Dr Serem.

Dr. Serem noted the critical role of information dissemination in this initiative, encouraging facility incharges to educate their committee members about the numerous benefits of membership, saying that a well-informed community is empowered to make better health choices.

In his commitment to enhancing service delivery, Dr. Serem assured that necessary medical equipment will be installed in facilities across the county, adding that 20 facilities have been earmarked for 24-hour service availability in a move that signifies a promise of unwavering healthcare accessibility.

“This is our home, and health service is a calling therefore i want to challenge healthcare workers to collaborate and provide the best services to their clients.
