WHY RESIDENTS OF REHEMA ARE IMPRESSED WITH GOVERNOR DR.BII

Most parts of Rehema area in Cheptiret -Kipchamo Ward, Kesses Sub County are normally affected by flooding due to uneven terrain, a challenge that the residents have been grappling with during every rainy season.

However, that could be a problem of the past following an intervention by Governor Dr Jonathan Bii led administration through the Department of Roads, Transport and Public Works.

Part of the interventions include gravelling works along lane 9, which is already complete, an important road that serves Rehema DEB school and other social amenities.

Uasin Gishu County Executive for Roads Eng Joseph Lagat says the work will extend to cover all the lanes from 1-9, and they are committed to completing the work before the heavy rainfall commences.

Residents led by Dancan Silungai, Mary Mbone, Ivyne Samoei, Marasi Kibet, and Peter Kuria expressed support for the initiative, saying it was a great investment in their community that will lead to improvement in infrastructure, living conditions, and overall quality of life.
