Today’s historic Mashujaa Day celebrations have been a proud moment for the entire North Rift region as we welcomed the rest of the country to the City of Champions to celebrate our heroes.

Together with our fellow co-hosts, Nandi and Elgeyo-Marakwet counties, we were honoured to host H.E. President William Samoei Ruto and other distinguished leaders in an occasion that celebrated our shared heritage, national unity and the enduring spirit of heroism.

Mashujaa Day reminds us to honour the men and women whose courage, sacrifice and service laid the foundation of our nation and continue to inspire us to build a better Kenya for generations to come.

Happy Mashujaa Day
