Team Uasin Gishu believes it has what it takes to shine at the 2025 Kicosca Games currently underway in Siaya County.
The county enters the competition as defending champions in several disciplines, with hopes of improving last year’s performance, where they emerged second at last year’s games in Kakamega County.





















CECM for Education and Culture Eng. Lucy Ngendo noted that team Uasin Gishu will rise to the occasion,
“Our teams have trained diligently, and they have what it takes to bring the overall victory home.”
According to Chief Officer for Sports, CPA Victorine Kapkiai, the teams were subjected to two selection stages to ensure the best represent the county.
She added that with preparation, discipline, and teamwork , it will enhance Uasin Gishu’s chances of reclaiming the top position.
CPA Kapkiai expressed confidence that the participants’ commitment will propel Uasin Gishu to victory as the games progress.
Team Manager Stephen Kemoi reiterated that the teams have had enough rest and they are ready for games.
Sports development is the 5th pillar in Governor Dr. Jonathan Bii’s governance plan.
