STAFF ANNUAL WELLNESS WEEK CONTINUES AS MORE STAFF TURN UP FOR CHECK-UP

The annual staff wellness week in Uasin Gishu organized by the Department of Public Service Management together with the Department of Health Services continues as County employees take full advantage of the opportunity to have their overall health checked.

This annual event aims to promote a healthy lifestyle among employees and create a positive work environment.

By offering these health check-ups, Governor Bii’s administration is not only showing a commitment to the health and well-being of its employees but also encouraging them to prioritize their health.

During this week, employees have access to a wide range of health services, including blood pressure checks, eye check-ups, cancer screening, cholesterol screenings, and body mass index measurements.

Additionally, the staff can consult with medical professionals from different hospitals and receive personalized advice on how to improve their health and well-being ensuring that employees are equipped with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their lifestyle choices.

Moreover, Staff Wellness Week goes beyond just physical health. The event also includes counselling on stress management and nutrition. These sessions aim to educate employees on the importance of mental and emotional well-being and provide them with practical tools to manage stress and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
