MOIBEN REHABILITATION CENTRE CELEBRATES SUCCESS AS CLIENTS SECURE JOBS AND RESUME EDUCATION

The Moiben Rehabilitation Centre is celebrating remarkable achievements as its clients make significant progress after completing rehabilitation programs. The centre has been instrumental in preparing individuals for reintegration into society, offering comprehensive training in various business skills, including farming, retail, and wholesale.

Farming, in particular, has been identified as a promising path, providing financial rewards and a sense of fulfillment, while laying the groundwork for future ventures in agriculture or business.

Among the centre’s recent success stories is Sammy Koech, who has been granted a visa for employment in Dubai. Another is Sila Kiplimo, who is resuming his studies at South Eastern Kenya University after a three-year hiatus, with the university agreeing to re-admit him to complete his final semester.

Sammy Koech shared his inspirational journey, reflecting on his past struggles with alcohol addiction and the turning point when he joined the rehabilitation program. He expressed deep gratitude to his family, Uasin Gishu Governor H.E. Jonathan Bii Chelilim, the rehabilitation staff, and his fellow clients for their unwavering support.

Ms. Carolyne Cheboi, the nurse in charge, announced plans for a thanksgiving service to celebrate Sammy’s accomplishments and the broader success of all clients, praising their discipline and the positive impact of the centre’s efforts.
