ECDE teachers from Moiben Sub-County on Friday visited the Uasin Gishu Rescue Centre to show solidarity with vulnerable children and young people.






The visit brought together Chief Officer for Gender and Social Protection Marion Birgen, Director Regina Keen, Assistant Director Sharon Chepsergon and Turbo Sub-County Administrator Obadiah Lelei. Members of Empty Vessels and Noble Sacco were also present.



Speaking during the visit, Chief Officer Birgen reaffirmed the County Government’s commitment to protecting and supporting vulnerable children.
Director Regina Keen emphasized the importance of partnerships in safeguarding children, while Assistant Director Sharon Chepsergon highlighted the need for continued support for children in vulnerable situations. Lelei appreciated the teachers for supporting initiatives aimed at improving children’s welfare.






The visit underscored the importance of collaboration in promoting the protection and holistic development of vulnerable children in Uasin Gishu County.
