LIVESTOCK DEPARTMENT ASSESSES ACHIEVEMENTS AND PLAN FOR THE FUTURE

Director Livestock, Mr. Abraham Kiptanui, on Friday, gathered his team from the department for a meeting to evaluate their accomplishments in the past mid-year period and plan for upcoming initiatives.

The meeting provided an opportunity to reflect on the progress made and discuss strategies for further enhancing livestock production in Uasin Gishu County.

Mr. Kiptanui reiterated the County’s commitment to fast-tracking projects that would directly benefit the residents of Uasin Gishu.

He also highlighted the achievements of the department in the past mid-year period.

“Through targeted initiatives and programs, significant progress has been made in various aspects of livestock production, including breed improvement, disease control, and animal health services,” Said Kiptanui.

Mr. Kiptanui emphasized the importance of team work in the Department noting that coordination was crucial in implementing successful projects and ensuring positive outcomes for both the department and the residents of Uasin Gishu County.

He stressed that the department would work closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely implementation and effective delivery of these projects.
