I’M COMMITTED TO DELIVERING ON ALL THE PROMISES, GOVERNOR BII ASSURES RESIDENTS

Uasin Gishu Governor H.E Dr Jonathan Bii has affirmed his commitment to working closely with all county residents in what he termed as a unifying factor poised to the realization of improved services as outlined in his Nguzo Kumi initiative.

Speaking on Monday at the Uasin Gishu County Service Centre during a routine check of the facility, the Governor said his main goal is to deliver the pledges he made to the people noting that already his administration has made notable tremendous strides among them, the digitization and automation of permits through the county’s Sisibo Pay system with a USSD code *764#.

The County boss while checking on the average time a client can be served with a license assured residents and the business community at large that the system has reduced a turnaround time to 2 minutes.

“You can now have your unified licenses within 2 minutes because the system is efficient, accurate and reliable,” said Bii.

Dr Bii further called on the clients to represent the county well on the services offered and other initiatives that the county government has effected for the benefit of the people.

“Let us brand our county well because we all belong here and the more we speak well about our county the more we get recognized by other people who may not know who we are and what we have done” noted Bii

On matters of Generation Z (Gen Z), the governor said in collaboration with learning institutions, we are bringing back the internship program and an enhanced attachment program to address the human resource issue.

“Inclusivity is paramount to every human resource that’s why we have various youths who are on attachment and others volunteering across different sections of our departments”

County Executive Committee Member for Finance and Economic Planning Micah Rogony, Directors David Kebenei(Licensing and Compliance) CPA Jonah Lamai(Revenue Management)Samuel Kiptoo(Administration) were among the present.
