HEALTH IS WEALTH – GOVERNOR BII

Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii has reiterated his administration’s commitment to promoting a healthy and conducive working environment for all staff members.

The Governor said this during the anticipated annual Staff Wellness Week, where he hosted various dignitaries including Governors Prof. Anyang Nyongo (Kisumu County), Prof. Wilbur Otichilo (Vihiga County) and Vihiga Deputy Governor Wilberforce Kitiezo.

During the event themed: Promoting Health For an Active and Productive Workforce, Governor Bii expressed his gratitude to the hardworking staff members who took part in the Staff Wellness Week. He acknowledged the significant role they play in serving Uasin Gishu residents.

Creating such an environment not only enhances the performance of the staff but also contributes to the overall growth and development of Uasin Gishu County,” said the County boss.

This event reflects Governor Bii’s commitment to promoting the well-being of his staff and fostering a positive work culture within the county administration.

Governor Anyang Nyongo and Governor Wilbur Otichilo commended Governor Bii for his dedication to prioritizing staff wellness.

Uasin Gishu Deputy Governor, Eng. John Barorot, emphasized that the county’s most valuable asset is its human resource, urging all employees to prioritize their well-being and utilize this opportunity to monitor their health.

The annual Staff Wellness Week serves as a platform where employees can gather, network, and engage in various wellness activities.
