HANDS-ON APPROACH: ASSESSING PROGRESS AND PRIORITIZING CARE AT ZIWA SUB COUNTY HOSPITAL

County Clinical Services Chief Officer, Dr. Joyce Sang on Tuesday afternoon, paid a visit to Ziwa Sub County Hospital in an effort to assess the progress of various developments within the facility.

During her inspection of the hospital’s theater, Dr. Sang acknowledged that its completion level is currently at 90% and urged the contractor to expedite the remaining works to enhance the hospital’s capacity to deliver essential surgical services to the local community.

In addition to assessing the theater, the Chief Officer also inspected the pediatric playground where she noted the importance of creating a child-friendly and welcoming environment within the hospital premises.

Dr. Sang emphasized the need to ensure that continuous service delivery remains unaffected throughout the renovation period. She stressed that the provision of uninterrupted medical services to the community should be prioritized.
