GOVERNOR BII’S VISIT TO TAPSYAUREI’S FARM: A CATALYST FOR CHANGE IN AGRICULTURAL SUPPORT

Following the directive given by His Excellency, Governor Jonathan Bii during his visit to Tapsyaurei Kimoi farm earlier this week, Agriculture Chief Officer Mr. Elphas Kesio visited the farmer to deliver top-dressing fertilizers to the farmer.

On the 2nd of July, 2023, Governor Jonathan Bii together with Deputy Governor Eng. John Barorot paid a visit to Tapsyaurei’s farm, a small-scale agricultural enterprise in Tembelio ward, Moiben Sub-County.

Recognizing the state of Tapsyaurei’s crops, Governor Bii decided to facilitate the provision of top-dressing fertilizer to boost the productivity for the farmer.

The move was an essential step towards revitalizing the productivity of the farm and ensuring the farmers’ financial stability.

According to Agriculture Chief Officer, The decision to deliver fertilizers to the Tapsyaurei farm was made after Governor Jonathan Bii recognized the farm’s potential and the need to support its growth.

Chief Officer said that the move will contribute to the farm’s success and ensure that it reaches its full potential in terms of production.

During the visit, Mr. Kesio took the opportunity to provide advice on best agricultural practices. He shared insights on soil management and crop rotation, all of which are essential for sustainable and efficient farming.

The Chief Officer expressed his confidence in the farm’s potential for growth and success.

He assured of Counties committed to supporting and promoting agricultural development in the region.

Director Agriculture Reuben Seroney, Deputy Director Agriculture Ismael Asowa and Tembelio Ward Agricultural Officer Samuel Muge were present during the visit.
