The Department of Livestock and Fisheries is gearing up for an exciting event in the agricultural calendar – The Eldoret National Agricultural Show of Kenya.
Directors Mr Abraham Kiptanui (Livestock) and Ms Edna Kemei (Fisheries) are leading their team in preparations for the upcoming show, scheduled to take place from 6th to 9th March, 2024.
With only less than 1.5 months remaining until the show, the team diligently brainstormed and discussed various ways to improve their plots.
“We are focusing on innovative ideas to enhance our plots and attract visitors who will be attending the show…”
“…we are considering various strategies such as incorporating modern technology into our displays, showcasing the latest advancements in livestock and fisheries practices, for sustainable farming methods”, said Kiptanui.
In addition, the team is making sure that all required preparations are completed to ensure the successful implementation of their plans. They are collaborating with exhibitors, managing logistics, and finalizing the specifics of their exhibits.
The directors are actively involved, closely overseeing the progress and offering guidance to their team members.
