FACILITY IN CHARGES CHALLENGED TO EMBRACE OPEN DIALOGUE FOR IMPROVED SERVICE DELIVERY

Health Services County Executive Committee Member Dr. Abraham Serem on Friday held a meeting with high-level facility in charges in a discussion that aimed towards revolutionizing the healthcare system in the County by focusing on improving service delivery, enhancing communication and embracing technology.

Speaking during the meeting, Dr. Serem expressed his confidence that these efforts will lead to an effective and efficient healthcare system therefore benefiting the residents of the County.

“Let us have an open dialogue for improved communication channels among different healthcare facilities to ensure seamless coordination and embrace modern technologies by exploring innovative solutions that can enhance the delivery of healthcare services,” said Dr. Serem.

The CECM also emphasized the significance of proper documentation and record-keeping in order to improve patient care and facilitate effective decision-making therefore the need to prioritize the digitalization of medical records and implement efficient data management systems.

Clinical Services Chief Officer Dr. Joyce Sang on her part emphasized the importance of maintaining a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff further urging the medical practitioners to enhance the code of conduct and public relations among themselves.

We need to have a policy that cushions our staff against depression since they go through a lot in their fields,” added Dr Sang.

She also said that plans are in place to install National Hospital Insurance Fund biometrics in the facilities to help raise revenues.
