ENHANCING PUBLIC SERVICE THROUGH TEAMWORK AND COLLABORATION

To elevate public service, Chief Officer of Public Service Jelagat Tirop is calling on public service directorates to deepen teamwork and collaboration across departments to achieve greater impact and efficiency.

Speaking as she chaired a meeting with section directorates at the County Headquarters on Wednesday where directors shared their work plans and achievements, the Chief Officer outlined a transformative vision for a public service that is accessible and responsive to the needs of all residents.

“Our goal is to build a public service that not only operates efficiently but is also committed to realizing the Nguzo Kumi Agenda set forth by H.E. Governor Dr. Jonathan Bii,” said Tirop.

To achieve this, the public service plans to implement a series of team-based training sessions designed to enhance collaboration, strengthen problem-solving abilities, and create a more unified approach to tackling arising challenges.

Another key component to shape perception and performance was highlighted by motivating staff and promotions through available opportunities. This structured approach will inspire all the staff to maintain high service standards, fostering a culture of dedication.
