ELDORET NATIONAL ASK SHOW, A SHOW OF INNOVATION

The Eldoret National ASK Show commenced on Wednesday in an event that was graced by Kesses Member of Parliament CPA Julius Ruto and Nandi Hills MP, Hon. Bernard Kitur

The annual event showcased a remarkable increase in exhibitors demonstrating innovative technique within the exhibition tents.

Uasin Gishu County Executive Committee Member, Mr. Edward Sawe, spearheaded the department’s involvement, urging farmers to seize the opportunity by attending in large numbers to experience valuable experiences and insights.

The county’s Department of Agriculture, Agribusiness Livestock and Fisheries, showcased a diverse range of agricultural practices and technologies from multistory gardens to greenhouses, coffee farms, and livestock pastures, displaying a comprehensive approach to modern farming methods.

The exhibition of modern equipment for climate-smart agriculture highlighted the county’s commitment to sustainable and innovative farming practices.

One of the event was the showcasing of the best dairy cattle breeds being exhibited in the show ,providing attendees with modern agricultural practices, sustainability initiatives, and the latest advancements in the dairy field.

The experts from various fields also shared their knowledge and experiences, encouraging farmers to adopt new techniques to improve their yields and increase profitability.

The Eldoret National ASK Show has once again proven to be a platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and celebration of the agricultural sector’s achievements.

Rececourse Ward MCA Hon Amos Kiptanui, Livestock Chief Officer Nixon Cheplong and his Counterpart for Agriculture Elphas Kesio were also present.
