Deputy Governor Eng. John Barorot on Friday made an impromptu visit to the Moiben Sub-County Office in preparation for the opening of the Alternative Court Justice System on May 30th, 2024.

The DG was accompanied by Eldoret Chief Magistrate, Dennis Mikoyan, County Secretary Mr Edwin Bett, Chief Officer for Administration Mark Some, Chief of Staff Nicholas Chepkwony, Director of Administration Samwel Kiptoo and area Sub-County Administrator Moses Kangogo.

The objective is to establish a courthouse that encompasses an Alternative Court Justice System within Moiben’s administrative office.

This is aimed at bringing justice closer to the people, fostering accessibility, nurturing a culture of fairness and transparency and upholding the principle of justice and equality.
