County Secretary Philip Meli on Tuesday led a multi-sectoral team on an inspection tour of ongoing construction works across the county, underscoring the administration’s commitment to timely delivery and quality implementation of development projects.
During the site visits, Meli assessed the progress of the works, interacted with project supervisors, and evaluated compliance with approved designs and safety standards.
He emphasized that the projects are critical to improving service delivery and must be completed as planned to meet the expectations of residents.
The County Secretary issued a firm call to contractors to adhere strictly to stipulated timelines, warning that delays would not be tolerated. He reiterated the need for efficiency, professionalism, and accountability, noting that public resources must translate into tangible benefits for the community.








Members of the inspection team, drawn from various departments, echoed the need for close coordination and regular monitoring to ensure value for money.
The county leadership reaffirmed its resolve to sustain oversight of development projects and ensure they are completed on schedule and to the highest standards.


The team inspected the County Aggregation and Industrial Park, Moiben Sub-County Hospital, Moisoy Milling Plant, and ongoing road works in Soy Ward.
