COUNTY PRIORITIZES EARLY SCREENING AND DIAGNOSIS OF AILMENTS

In a bid to enhance healthcare services and prioritize the well-being of the public, the County Government of Uasin Gishu has reaffirmed its commitment to providing high-quality and timely medical services by focusing on improved diagnostics and early screening of various ailments.

On Wednesday, Clinical Services Chief Officer Dr Joyce Sang made a significant step towards achieving this goal by inspecting a wide range of essential medical equipment at Kamalel Health Centre in Racecourse Ward, Kapseret Sub County.

By ensuring the availability of such state-of-the-art equipment, Governor Jonathan Bii led administration aims to enhance diagnostics, improve patient care, and enable early detection of ailments,” said Dr Sang.

She said that by providing the residents with access to high-quality healthcare services, the proactive approach aims to ensure that the public receives the best possible medical care promptly.

The County Government of Uasin Gishu has invested in advanced medical equipment to improve diagnostics and prioritize the early screening of various ailments therefore positively impacting the community by enabling early detection and enhanced medical care for everyone.

The equipment inspected included ventilators, ICU beds, patient monitors, mobile X-rays, defibrillators, transport ventilators, and suction machines.
