COUNTY PARTNERS WITH THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS TO EQUIP CHEMUSIAN HEALTH FACILITY

The County Government of Uasin Gishu, Department of Health Services on Thursday welcomed a delegation from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, led by Elder Robert Homer from the United States of America.

The visit to the Chemusian health facility in Ainabkoi/Olare aimed at forging a partnership on equipping the facility that would greatly benefit the local community.

Clinical Services Chief Officer Dr. Joyce Sang expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, highlighting that this partnership would bring about immense improvements in the quality of healthcare services provided to the residents of Chemusian.

She said that the partners have committed to providing essential medical equipment necessary for the smooth functioning of the health facility.

This support will not only ensure the facility is up and running but will also ensure that it can offer top-notch medical services to the community,” said Dr Sang.

Governor Jonathan Bii’s administration through this collaboration, reaffirms its commitment to deliver high-quality healthcare services to its residents within their reach.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will offer basic medical equipment including; Delivery packs, suture packs, basic dressing packs, ward screen, litmus 11 stethoscope,obstrectric dopplle, procedure trolley, wheelchair, nebuliser, drip stand, room thermometer,18 litres autoclave, blood pressure machine, couch, delivery bed, thermometer, adult and children weighing scale, autoscope, sterilizer, examination lab, suction machine and pulse meter.
