COUNTY OPERATIONALIZES A ONE-STOP SERVICE CENTRE

The County Government of Uasin Gishu has moved to operationalize a one-stop licensing and permits centre dubbed the Uasin Gishu County Service Centre.

The centre, is designed to acquire licenses and business permits as efficiently as possible, as County Executive for Finance and Economic Planning, Micah Rogony, notes.

Speaking as he checked on licensing services at the centre on Friday, Mr Rogony said members of the public will be able to get all county services at the centre, in the shortest time possible.

“The main aim is to consolidate various services under one roof for the convenience of residents and businesses,” said Rogony.

The establishment of the centre is in line with Governor Dr. Jonathan Bii’s commitment to harnessing technology for efficient governance and better services to raiya.

The services offered at the Uasin Gishu Service Center include the payment of Fire compliance, Single Business permits, Weighs and Measures, Land rates, Public health, Signages, Parking stickers, Betting and Control permits, Liquor Licenses, and Housing Bills, among others.

By centralizing these services, the county government aims to streamline administrative processes, reduce bureaucracy, and provide a one-stop-shop for residents and businesses to access the services they require. This will save time and resources for all stakeholders involved.

Mr. Rogony also emphasized the importance of quality service delivery and urged county officials to provide efficient and prompt assistance to all individuals seeking services at the centre.

“As the county Service Center becomes fully operational, Residents and businesses can now look forward to a more convenient and streamlined approach when accessing various county services,” added Rogony.
