COUNTY KICKS OFF MONITORING AND EVALUATION EXERCISE ACROSS THE WARDS

The County Government of Uasin Gishu through the Department of Economic Planning on Monday kicked off the Monitoring and Evaluation exercise of Ward projects across the County to assess its progress and impacts water projects being main focus.

Speaking during the exercise in Kamagut Ward, County Executive Committee Member for Finance and Economic Planning Micah Rogony said that the exercise is ongoing in all the 30 Wards, ensuring that there is a proper absorption rate of public funds for quality and timely service delivery to the residents.

Our mandate as a Department is to conduct monitoring and evaluation of the County implemented projects to check on its status and ensure that residents get value for their money,” said Rogony.

Among the water projects monitored and evaluated include; Kambi Kuku which serves 100 households, Juakali with four water projects drilled, Boinet,Sugoi and Seiyot water Projects in Kamagut Ward.
