COUNTY HOSTS PRODUCTIVE MEETING WITH ELEPHANT VERT

The Department of Agriculture and Agribusiness on Wednesday held a meeting with representatives from Elephant Vert, a leading player in the agricultural sector known for its innovative solutions and sustainable practices.

The meeting focused on exploring potential collaboration opportunities aimed at advancing agricultural development in the region.

During the meeting held at the Office of County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Agriculture, Mr. Edward Sawe, Sawe articulated the county’s commitment to fostering a robust partnership with Elephant Vert.

“We are dedicated to working together to enhance agricultural innovation and sustainable practices that can significantly benefit our farmers and the wider community,” he stated.

Chief Officer Agriculture Mr. Elphas Kesio, also present at the meeting, reiterated the essential role of collaboration between public and private entities in addressing the challenges facing agricultural development.

According to Kesio, Elephant Vert’s offerings, which include organic amendments, biostimulants, and biocontrol solutions for sustainable agriculture, align well with the county’s vision for enhancing agricultural productivity while promoting environmentally friendly practices.
