COUNTY HOLD TALKS WITH SPORTS CLUB MANAGEMENT

The Department of Devolution convened a meeting with the management of the Eldoret Sports Club in preparation for Devolution Conference scheduled to take place from August 15th to 19th.

Chaired by County Executive Committee Member for Devolution Elijah Kosgey, the meeting focused on enhancing productivity for both teams.

Kosgey emphasized on the importance of departmental progress reports on conference preparations and urged all stakeholders to be keen and updated for smooth preparations.

As a vital platform for discussing and deliberating on matters of devolution, the County’s leadership recognizes the significance of forging strong partnerships within the local community.

During the meeting, Mr Kosgey stressed the need for collaboration between the County and the Eldoret Sports Club. By leveraging the collective strengths and resources of both entities, the aim is to achieve enhanced efficiency and effectiveness in organizing the conference.

Silas Maiyo, the Chairman of Eldoret Sport Club, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration. He reassured County’s leadership of the Club’s preparedness to work closely together for the success of the Devolution Conference.

As preparations for the Devolution Conference continue, Uasin Gishu County is working round the clock to host a successful conference.

The County leadership emphasizes the importance of attendance and a collective effort to achieve the desired outcomes.

With the collaborative spirit fostered between Uasin Gishu County and Eldoret Sport Club , the stage is set for the conference.

Chief Officers Mark Some (Devolution) Felix Kimaru (ICT & Innovation), Geofrey Tanui (Trade) Eng. Abraham Kiptalam(Roads)and various directors were among present.
