COUNTY CONDUCTS VALIDATION OF CLIMATE CHANGE PROJECTS AHEAD OF THEIR IMPLEMENTATION

The County Government of Uasin Gishu is actively working to implement programs and projects aimed at addressing climate change issues in the county.

On Thursday, the Department of Energy, Environment, Natural Resources, and Climate Change, led by Chief Officer Energy, Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change Mary Kerich, conducted a validation exercise for the Financing Locally Led Climate Action (FLLoCA) programs in all Sub-Counties.

Additionally, during the same event, members of the Ward Climate Change Planning Committee (WCCPC) received their appointment letters to coordinate climate change response activities in their respective wards.

The Sub-County Administrators, Ward Administrators, County Climate Change Planning Committee, along the County Climate Change Unit led the entire process.
