CLINICAL SERVICES CHIEF OFFICER DISTRIBUTES DRUGS TO SINONIN HEALTH FACILITY IN SOY WARD

County Chief Officer for Clinical Services, Dr Joyce Sang, has taken the initiative to distribute drugs to the Sinonin Health facility in Soy Ward, the primary objective being ensuring consistent and regular supply of medical supplies for enhanced quality and timeliness of service delivery.

Recognizing the crucial role that medication plays in facilitating effective healthcare, Dr Sang has urged the facility managers to proactively place orders for drugs in a timely manner. This proactive approach is aimed at safeguarding the public against potential shortages or unavailability of essential medications.

The distribution of drugs directly to the health facility, the County seeks to eliminate delays and promote efficiency in supply and dispensing of drugs to the people of Uasin Gishu.

“I want to call upon all facility managers to place orders on time because it is prudent and necessary to mitigate any potential risks associated with drug shortages and with the proactive approach Governor Bii’s administration demonstrates a commitment to improving the overall quality of healthcare services provided,”said Dr Sang.

The Chief Officer also visited Ziwa Sub County Hospital and Kipsigak health facilities to check on its operations and customer satisfaction.
