CLINICAL SERVICES CHIEF OFFICER CONDUCTS FOLLOW-UP VISIT TO TURBO SUB COUNTY HOSPITAL

Clinical Services Chief Officer Dr Joyce Sang on Tuesday conducted a follow-up visit to Turbo Sub County Hospital to assess the progress of implementation efforts discussed during a recent engagement between His Excellency Governor Dr. Jonathan Bii, the facility’s staff and the community.

During her visit, Dr. Sang welcomed new staff members and commended the operational status of all sections within the hospital.

She emphasized the critical importance of maintaining high levels of cleanliness throughout the facility noting that hygiene is pivotal in preventing infections and ensuring patient safety.

On his part, facility manager David Samoei provided feedback on community satisfaction regarding the hospital’s services reporting that the local population expressed high satisfaction with the timely and quality care being provided.

“The positive feedback from the community highlights the significant impact our services have on their health and well-being,” said Samoei.

Following her visit to Turbo Sub County Hospital, Dr. Sang also toured Cheplaskei health facility, where she observed an impressive turnout of patients seeking care.

“The high patient volume is attributed to the facility’s established reputation for delivering high-quality services and I want to express my satisfaction with the service delivery levels at Cheplaskei therefore I commend the healthcare staff for their dedication and commitment to providing essential care to residents,” added Dr Sang.

She further said that the dedication of the healthcare professionals is critical in ensuring that they meet the expectations of the community therefore ensuring accessible, timely, and quality healthcare for residents.
