CLINICAL SERVICES CHIEF OFFICER CALLS FOR DILIGENCE IN HEALTHCARE DELIVERY

Clinical Services Chief Officer Dr Joyce Sang has urged healthcare staff to be diligent while delivering services to the public.

Dr. Sang made these remarks during an impromptu visit to Moiben and Ziwa Sub County Hospitals where she assessed the facilities’ operations and engaged with the staff and patients.

During her visit, Dr. Sang emphasized the importance of commitment and efficiency in healthcare provision noting that they must give their best to the public they serve.

“Every patient who walks through our doors deserves timely and appropriate care therefore let’s work to support them and whoever solicits funds for the services will face the consequences because we have the sisibo pay where they make any payments,” said Dr. Sang.

The CO also visited the rehabilitatees at the hospital where she encouraged them to stay clear of drugs and alcohol, stressing the importance of prioritizing their recovery and personal development.

“Your rehabilitation journey is commendable, and I urge you to continue focusing on bettering your lives. Engaging in Bible classes can provide you with the guidance and strength needed to overcome challenges,” she encouraged.

The rehabilitated individuals under the Alcoholics Drinks and Control Board program are set to graduate on September 22nd, 2024 marking a significant milestone in their recovery journey.
