Chinese investors visiting Uasin Gishu, led by Gao Peng, the Deputy General Manager of Smart Energy at Wiscom System, paid a courtesy visit to Huruma Sub-County Hospital as part of efforts to strengthen engagement and explore opportunities for collaboration that could benefit the facility and the wider community.
The visit brought together the investors and hospital representatives, providing an opportunity to discuss the hospital’s needs and identify areas where external support could make a meaningful difference.
During the engagement, the investors expressed interest in supporting initiatives aimed at improving healthcare services and strengthening the hospital’s capacity to effectively serve residents.
The engagement is expected to open opportunities for potential investments and partnerships in areas that could enhance the delivery of quality, accessible and affordable healthcare services to the local population.








The visit was welcomed as a positive development, with the hospital and surrounding community hopeful that the potential collaboration will contribute to improvements in healthcare infrastructure, medical equipment and other essential services.
Stakeholders noted that continued engagement with investors could play an important role in strengthening healthcare delivery while also fostering stronger ties between the local community and Chinese investors.
