CHIEF OFFICERS SIGN PERFORMANCE CONTRACTS TO ENSURE QUALITY SERVICE DELIVERY

The County Government of Uasin Gishu is committed to attracting, developing, and retaining a qualified, service-driven, and accountable workforce, a senior official has said.

Speaking during the signing of performance contracts by Chief Officers, County Executive for Public Service, Janet Kurgat, emphasized that the process is a key driver in enhancing service delivery across all departments.

On Thursday, under the leadership of Governor Dr. Jonathan Bii, Chief Officers signed contracts aimed at reinforcing their commitment to delivering quality services to the public.

County Executives, who serve as heads of departments, also endorsed the contracts—turning them into binding appraisal documents with clear deliverables and accountability mechanisms.

The exercise was spearheaded by the Department of Public Service, led by CECM Janet Kurgat, with support from the Director for Performance Contracting, Josephat Rotich. The County Attorney’s office facilitated the legal aspects of the process.
