ABDALA FOUNDATION DONATES FOOD TO ELDORET RESCUE CENTRE

Eldoret Rescue Centre on Friday received generous donation from Abdala Foundation to support the facility’s efforts in caring for vulnerable children and adults.

The donation, which included cooking oil and maize flour, was handed over to Anthony Sitienei, the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Education, Vocational Training, Gender, Social Protection, and Culture.

“This contribution will go a long way in supporting the rescue centre,” Sitienei remarked during the event, highlighting the importance of such donations in sustaining the centre’s operations.

Sitienei expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Abdala Foundation for their continued support of the vulnerable members of the community and encouraged others to follow their example.

“We deeply appreciate your generosity, and on behalf of His Excellency the Governor and the entire county, we thank you for standing with us. We urge more well-wishers to come forward and assist the centre in any way they can,” he added.

Accompanying the CECM to receive the donations were Peter Ruto, County Director for Social Protection, and David Magut, the Centre Manager.
