NG’ENYILEL RESIDENTS THANKFUL TO GOVERNOR BII AS COUNTY INTENSIFIES ROAD WORKS IN TURBO

Residents of Ng’enyilel Ward in Turbo Sub-County have expressed gratitude to Governor Dr. Jonathan Bii’s government for the ongoing road improvement program along the Lower Bukwo – Upper Bukwo – Tuiyobei River road, saying the gravelling works will ease transport, boost trade and improve access to schools and health facilities.

Speaking on Thursday during an inspection exercise led by Roads, Transport and Public Works County Executive Member Abraham Serem and Chief Officer Geoffrey Tanui, the residents interacted with the county team at various stopovers, where opinion leaders lauded the administration’s commitment to opening up rural roads in line with Governor Bii’s Nguzo Kumi development agenda.

CECM Serem assured residents that the department is committed to completing all road programs initiated by Dr. Bii’s administration, noting that the Bukwo area project is part of the county-wide plan to grade, gravel and compact roads across all 30 wards to enhance agricultural productivity, market access and service delivery.
