ELDORET BUSINESS SUMMIT 4TH EDITION OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED

The 4th Edition of the Eldoret Business Summit has been officially launched, with the Chief Guest being Uasin Gishu Deputy Governor Evans Kapkea, representing the Governor.

The Deputy Governor was accompanied by County Executive for Trade, Investment, Industrialization, Tourism and Cooperative Development, Dr. Philip Chebunet, alongside Chief Officers, Directors and other senior county officials.

DG Kapkea applauded the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) for organizing the summit, noting that such platforms are vital in promoting trade, investment, partnerships and economic growth in the region.

He pledged the 100 per cent support and collaboration of the Uasin Gishu County Government towards the success of the summit and initiatives aimed at strengthening the business environment.
The Deputy Governor highlighted key projects and investment opportunities within the county, including the ongoing construction of the Export Processing Zone (EPZ), which is expected to create jobs, attract investors and stimulate industrial development.

He warmly welcomed all participants, exhibitors, investors, business leaders, development partners and stakeholders to the summit, urging them to take advantage of the platform to network, explore opportunities and forge partnerships that will contribute to the county’s economic transformation.

The summit brings together key players from the public and private sectors to showcase opportunities, promote investment and strengthen partnerships for sustainable economic development.
