Deputy Governor H.E. Evans Kapkea has expressed his deep appreciation to all partners who contributed to the success of the week-long Staff Wellness Week. The event, held at the County Headquarters under the theme “A Healthy Workforce for a Wealthy Nation,” brought together various health stakeholders committed to improving the wellbeing of county staff.

The wellness initiative provided comprehensive services aimed at enhancing health-seeking behaviour among employees. Staff underwent medical examinations, received guidance on early detection of illnesses, and participated in health education sessions designed to promote long-term wellbeing.

DG Kapkea noted that the impressive turnout and active engagement underscored the importance of prioritizing staff health. He affirmed the County Government’s commitment to continued collaboration with partners to ensure a healthy, motivated, and productive workforce.

Kapkea also assured the participating teams that such partnerships remain vital in building a strong and effective public service capable of delivering quality services to the people of Uasin Gishu.
