She is is a member of the second County Public Service Board. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Information Studies from the University of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. She also holds a Master’s degree in Library and Information Studies from Moi University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Sciences from Moi University. She has undergone various leadership and managerial courses.
She has served as the Chairperson of the Department of Library, Records Management and Information Studies, Senior Lecturer and tutorial fellow in the School of Information Science at Moi University. She has also served as a Records Management Officer at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital and Assistant Lecturer at Eldoret National Polytechnic.
