PSV OPERATORS AND COMMUTERS COMMEND GOVERNOR DR BII FOR RENOVATING ELDORET MAIN BUS PARK

Governor Dr Jonathan Bii-led administration has done tremendous work in the rehabilitation of Eldoret’s main bus terminus, one of the significant infrastructure projects aimed at enhancing transportation within Uasin Gishu County.

This move is designed to improve the efficiency and safety of public transport by tarmacking the surface to ensure a smooth flow of vehicles within the facility.

County Executive for Roads Eng Joseph Lagat says that the county will continue undertaking rehabilitation at other bus parks in the county as part of a broader initiative to enhance public transportation infrastructure and promote economic growth and connectivity.

“The completion of the works which includes doing an overlay to cover the surface is a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts to improve public transport in Eldoret town which is set to become the fifth city in Kenya.”

“Its current new state will ensure a seamless experience for commuters and operators,”he said.

Public service vehicle owners interviewed have expressed gratitude to Uasin Gishu Governor Dr. Jonathan Bii for renovating the main stage.

Led by John Chepkonga and Enock Toroitich they said that the bus park had been neglected for decades and that the renovation will end to their miseries, especially during rainy seasons.

“We don’t have a better way to thank Governor Dr. Bii for listening to us and the swift move to renovate this bus park from the bad state. During the heavy rains, our vehicles and passengers have to wade into the potholes.”
