ELDOWAS, Moi University Health, Kesses Health Centre, Lelmolok Nursing Home, Baraka Clinic, Nazareth dispensary, Chesunet Dispensary, MU-84 Sacco, Lesacco, Bodaboda Sacco and Kesses Business Community made their presentations to the ad-hoc committee of Kesses-Chebaiywo township on conferment to municipality status.
ELDOWAS as a key stakeholders in the elevation of the township, stated that they support the elevation to Municipality. Ms. Jane Kipngeny, in her presentation; assured that ELDOWAS is prepared to handle population the growth and the rising need of water.
With implementation of their projects; such as smart meters, extension of networks, they assured that water will be sufficiently supplied.
Onto the health sector, Kesses Sub County Hospital representative, stated that the County Government of Uasin Gishu is in the process of completing the level 4 hospital which will provide prevention and curative treatment for patients within the Municipality.
Lelmolok Nursing home administrator said they have a strategic plan and enough land to expand their facility to serve the upcoming municipality at large.
Chair of kesses business welfare community Mr. Julius Koech said that the expected elevation would boost the social-economic inclusion of the residents at large and asked that a judicial office and an immigrants centre be opened in Kesses-Chebaiywo Municipality to serve the wananchi.
Representatives of MU-84 Sacco, Mr. Eliud Biwot, Lessaco and Eldomoc reps who operate the public transport gave a yes to elevation noting that it would improve the business sector in the Municipality
