Committed to enhancing quality eye care services in Uasin Gishu County, Siloam Eye Clinic unveiled its new branch in Eldoret, a move that comes as part of the county government’s efforts to improve access to quality eye care for its residents, with a focus on preventative care and early detection of eye problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While unveiling the clinic, Clinical Services Chief Officer Dr Joyce Sang who represented Health Services CECM Dr. Abraham Serem highlighted the importance of regular wellness check-ups for eye care, emphasizing that eyesight issues can occur at any age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Following the recent eye medical camps, there has been an increase in eye problems among the population, making it crucial for individuals to prioritize their eye health,” said Dr Sang.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Nandi County Executive for Health Services, Ruth Koech commended the initiative, describing it as a testament to the bottom-up economy approach that prioritizes the well-being of the younger generation, stressing the importance of collaborative partnerships in ensuring that no one suffers from preventable blindness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boniface Munzala, the Director of Savings, Investments and Remittance from the State Department of Foreign Affairs expressed his optimism about the expansion of services to Uasin Gishu County by highlighting the clinic’s commitment to providing comprehensive eye care solutions and reaching more individuals in need of specialized eye care services.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
