County Executive Committee Member for Public Service Management, Mr. Elijah Kosgei on Wednesday officially inducted 930 students from various tertiary institutions across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The induction, aimed at familiarizing the students with their new working environments, marked the beginning of their attachment to different county departments, providing them with a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During his address, Mr. Kosgei emphasized the importance of mutual respect both in the workplace and in society at large. He encouraged the attachees to actively participate in fieldwork activities, which would help them gain essential skills for their future careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chief Officer Public Service Management, Jelagat Tirop, highlighting the core values necessary for success emphasized the importance of professionalism, time management, and maintaining a positive attitude, noting that these attributes are key to fostering smooth relationships in the workplace and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Director Training, Josphat Rotich, provided the students with an overview of the County Government\u2019s structure, explaining the roles of the Public Service Board, County Assembly, and County Executive. He outlined the objectives of the attachment program, which include providing students with hands-on experience, creating opportunities for professional growth, and instilling a strong work ethic.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Director of Human Resource Management, Nathan Koech, highlighted the important responsibilities, such as adaptability, problem-solving, and maintaining confidentiality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Director Branding and Public Relations Faith Seroney and Ag. Director of Communications Amos Kipruto both emphasized the importance of professional growth during the induction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They urged the students to represent the County brand well, highlighting the need for self-motivation, effective communication, embracing challenges, seeking mentorship, and building strong networks throughout their attachment, ensuring they make the most of the opportunity.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
