{"id":8286,"date":"2024-05-15T12:21:00","date_gmt":"2024-05-15T09:21:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uasingishu.go.ke\/?p=8286"},"modified":"2024-05-16T18:30:15","modified_gmt":"2024-05-16T15:30:15","slug":"eldoret-water-and-sanitation-company-proposes-tariff-adjustments-for-improved-water-access","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uasingishu.go.ke\/index.php\/eldoret-water-and-sanitation-company-proposes-tariff-adjustments-for-improved-water-access","title":{"rendered":"ELDORET WATER AND SANITATION COMPANY PROPOSES TARIFF ADJUSTMENTS FOR IMPROVED WATER ACCESS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>County Executive Committee Member for Water Dr. Sam Kottut outlined Governor Jonathan Bii&#8217;s plans to enhance water distribution coverage by the end of the year with the aim of making water accessible to all residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Kottut spoke on Wednesday during the public consultation forum on the Eldoret Water and Sanitation Company ( ELDOWAS) sewer and water tariff review at the County Hall where he embraced the collective efforts of all stakeholders involved in the exercise by highlighting the need for access to the fundamental resource of water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>&#8220;Water scarcity in our county will soon be a thing of the past because we are working on expanding water pans, equipping the already drilled boreholes to benefit many county residents, &#8221;
