County Executive Committee Member for Health Services, Dr. Abraham Serem on Wednesday hosted officials from the Ministry of Health, Division of Primary Health Care for a discussion on the implementation and acceleration of primary care networks in the Sub-Counties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During a courtesy call visit at his office, Dr. Serem highlighted the progress made in sensitizing the Primary Care Networks Committee and the multidisciplinary team, adding that the baseline assessment report writing has been completed, therefore demonstrating the County’s dedication to advancing the establishment of primary care networks.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

He said that by accelerating the establishment of primary care networks and fostering collaboration with key stakeholders, the County aims to enhance access to quality healthcare services, promote community wellness, and address health challenges at the grassroots level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chief Officer for Clinical Services, Dr. Joyce Sang emphasized that all community health promoters have been enlisted and will soon receive their stipends, noting that they play a crucial role as pioneers in the registration of households and the implementation of Primary Care Networks (PCNs) within the community.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The interactive discussion highlighted Governor Dr Jonathan Bii’s commitment to strengthening primary healthcare services and ensuring the effective delivery of healthcare to the residents of Uasin Gishu County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
