In response to this issue, Utunzi Animal Welfare Organization is exploring the possibility of engaging in large-scale production of black soldier flies, renowned for their high crude protein levels based on research findings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Chief Officer Cheplong emphasized the county&#8217;s dedication to carrying out sustainable and efficient strategies, including the development of high-protein poultry feed options, which was part of Governor Bii&#8217;s election pledge.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting was attended by Directors Dr. Philip Biama (Veterinary), Abraham Kiptanui (Livestock), and Mr. Joel Ruto (Agribusiness).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Uasin Gishu County farmers are set to benefit from an innovative poultry feed production strategy aimed at enhancing agricultural practices and supporting the region&#8217;s farming community.
