The Department of Housing and Urban Development charged with the responsibility of ensuring that all staff are housed well and provide office space to all officers intends to undertake an office inventory exercise starting on Monday 5th February, 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Ag. Director Housing Ms. Beatrice Menjo, the exercise aims at addressing office space that has been inadequate to most officers in all Departments, and the data collected will be used to make recommendations for the County to requisition construction of offices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The exercise will be intensive and we expect maximum corporation from all offices spread across the County. The officers will be well identified through their official identity cards,” said Ms. Menjo.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Principal officer for Housing Mr. Isaac Sang says that the Department is also going to request for all office bearers to give the number of occupants in each office and additional give the amount of rent paid by the county for the offices used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The office inventory exercise will be carried out in the following areas:- Headquarters, Ardhi House, County Commissioner’s Offices, Kapsoya, Chebororwa, Rescue centre, Municipality, KVDA, Water, Fisheries, AMS, Yard, Sub-County offices and the ward offices.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
