County Secretary, Mr. Edwin Bett, officially brought the curtains down on an extensive training program for directors, deputy directors, and assistant directors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Bett emphasized the dynamic nature of public service, where policies evolve, trends shift, and procedures demand periodic reviews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He underlined the pivotal role of training in keeping county officials abreast of these changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The County Secretary reiterated that training is important in public service and the objective is to arm County Government officials with the skills essential for effective supervision and a thorough understanding of human resource policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This, he asserted was crucial for delivering optimal services to the people of Uasin Gishu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“To deliver services as expected, it’s important for them to acquaint themselves with applicable human resource policies and procedures,” he adds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The directors, through the training, delved into project management, drawing from the reach well of experience shared by the public service board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The directors were prepared to navigate the complexities of their daily responsibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Edwin Tarno took them through a comprehensive presentation that focused on aligning the efforts of the directors with the Governor’s manifesto and national development priorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Tarno also took them through performance management, implementing the plan and driving results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
