The County Department of Energy, Environment, Natural Resources, and Climate Change on Wednesday held a pre-validation meeting for the Financing Locally Led Climate Action Programs for the financial year 2023\/2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These programs have the objective of increasing the resilience of residents to the adverse effects of climate change, while also enhancing their livelihoods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ms. Mary Kerich, the Chief Officer for the department, underlined the significance of implementing projects that bring tangible benefits to the residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Let us prioritize projects that truly make a difference in the lives of our people,” Ms Kerich said.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The project validation process will take place on Thursday, January 18th, across all the Sub-Counties, to pave the way for the implementation phase to kick off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
