The Department of Public Service Management, Administration, and Devolved Units on Monday convened a meeting to reflect on the department&#8217;s remarkable achievements over the past one year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">County Executive Committee Member, Elijah Kosgey highlighted a series of accomplishments that has marked their journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8220;We have enhanced the County&#8217;s Image through Branding, recognizing the power of perception of Uasin Gishu County&#8217;s name that has begun to resonate with pride, and its identity becomes a symbol of excellence, &#8221; said Kosgey.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Employment on a permanent basis of 1270 ECDE Teachers, Education is a cornerstone of development, and Governor Bii&#8217;s administration ensures that Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) receives the attention it deserves, new teachers were recruited to nurture young minds, securing the County&#8217;s future&#8221; added Kosgey<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chief Officer for Public Service Management Ambrose Tarus commended on the Implementation of Performance Contract Training noting that accountability is paramount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The administration introduced performance contracts, ensuring that every member of the county staff has clear expectations and goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8221; Training programs are designed to empower employees to excel, &#8220;said Tarus<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The county has also established a counselling section for its staff to have greater self-acceptance and self-esteem and recognition of distorted thinking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"949\" data-id=\"4641\" src=\"https:\/\/uasingishu.go.ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/WhatsApp-Image-2023-09-11-at-5.44.11-PM.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4641\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1599\" height=\"1066\" data-id=\"4640\" src=\"https:\/\/uasingishu.go.ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/WhatsApp-Image-2023-09-11-at-5.43.57-PM.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4640\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1599\" height=\"1066\" data-id=\"4639\" src=\"https:\/\/uasingishu.go.ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/WhatsApp-Image-2023-09-11-at-5.44.05-PM.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4639\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enhancing Training and Induction for new Employees is essential for growth.
