{"id":4623,"date":"2023-09-11T14:03:15","date_gmt":"2023-09-11T11:03:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uasingishu.go.ke\/?p=4623"},"modified":"2023-09-11T14:03:20","modified_gmt":"2023-09-11T11:03:20","slug":"governor-bii-flags-off-drugs-worth-40m-to-138-facilities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uasingishu.go.ke\/index.php\/governor-bii-flags-off-drugs-worth-40m-to-138-facilities","title":{"rendered":"GOVERNOR BII FLAGS OFF DRUGS WORTH 40M TO 138 FACILITIES"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii on Monday flagged off drugs worth 40 million to 138 facilities to ensure adequate drug supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The flagging off justifies Governor Bii&#8217;s promise of ensuring that facilities are well stocked for residents of Uasin Gishu to get health services in all facilities at all times as outlined in the Governor&#8217;s Nguzo Kumi manifesto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking while flagging off the drugs, Governor Bii emphasized the importance of having sufficient drug supply in healthcare facilities by highlighting the neighboring counties that often seek medical services in the County facilities noting that there is a need to cater to the healthcare needs of both the county&#8217;s residents and those from the North Rift Economic Bloc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" data-id=\"4635\" src=\"https:\/\/uasingishu.go.ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/WhatsApp-Image-2023-09-11-at-1.07.15-PM.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4635\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" data-id=\"4633\" src=\"https:\/\/uasingishu.go.ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/WhatsApp-Image-2023-09-11-at-1.07.12-PM.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4633\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Governor Bii also emphasized the significance of good health stating that without it their efforts would be in vain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>&#8220;I want to call upon members of the public to take advantage of the triage services available in the facilities to identify any ailments they may have because it is through this that appropriate plans can be put in place to ensure prompt and effective treatment,&#8221; said Bii.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The County head also added that his administration is working with the Israeli Government to improve diagnostics which will ensure that residents&#8217;
