“In line with that, the County is in the process of purchasing new equipment to increase the health sector service delivery which has led to the development of health facilities,” said Dr. Kotut.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n The health boss further noted that the number of dispensaries had increased and is evenly distributed within the 30 Wards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “Currently, the County has 15 fully functional ambulances that have increased over the years,” added Kotut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Kotut further added that the County has also partnered with the Kenya Medical Training Training (KMTC) to promote the training of staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n CECM for Agriculture Mr. Edward Sawe reported that his department has held various programs to promote agricultural sectors in the County<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n “Development partners such as KSCAP managed to partner with the County in promoting agriculture development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n CECM for Water Dr. Abraham Serem reported that over 700 water projects have been built over the past 10 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “To date the County has drilled over 176 boreholes and managed to achieve access to water up to 1km distance,” said Serem.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n Commissioner Khadija Juma commended the County’s efforts and significant strides since the inception of devolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Tomorrow, the team will visit various projects undertaken by the County to assess the quality of work and how they impact service delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The County Secretary Mr. Edwin Bett was also present.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" County Executive Committee Member for Finance Mr. Micah Rogony, Tuesday 4th July, at Uasin Gishu County headquarters, chaired a meeting with the Commission on Revenue Allocation( CRA).
